In early 2021 we will use the funds of this accommodation fundraiser to buy additional rooms and capacity from those hotels that already donated accommodations for free. The funds will be used exclusively for additional accommodation to host as many Healthcare Heroes as possible in best of class accommodation across Europe.

Why are the donations needed?
In order to realise this project we will need to have a professional project team in place for the next 14 months to manage the many moving parts of the initiative and it’s implementation.
On the other hand we plan a crowd funding to cover for all the transportation costs (flights) of all the healthcare workers.
Who allocates the distribution of funds?
There is a steering board that will be responsible for budgeting, governance and distribution of the funds.
Is there a committee involved?
The Steering board is working voluntarily and is there to assist, guide and support the decision making process.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
We are in the process to setup the charity, but due to the unusual circumstances of the country-wide lockdown it will take some more time to implement the charity.
As a charity your contribution is typically tax deductible to either your business or personal earnings, but this is depending on the country/legislation you are living in, we can’t guarantee this. (please consult your tax advisor)
Will I receive a receipt from the charity?
We will allocate a receipt of payment with every donation and we also will be allowing donors to pay directly to any third party service to help cover the operational costs. (the choice is yours).
Can I see where my money is allocated?
We will allow all donors access to a dashboard so that you will see the distribution of the funds at any given time.
How much are you planning to raise?
We have two objectives in mind. Once for the initial operational costs for the next 14 months of 250,000€ and one to cover the flight costs of the recipients and their families to their prize winning destination of approximately 2,000,000€
